High-coercivity (hi-co) and low-coercivity (lo-co) magnetic stripes are used to store data by modifying the magnetism of tiny iron-based magnetic particles on a band of magnetic material. Hi-co stripes are more durable and resistant to magnetic interference and physical wear, making them ideal for secure, long-term use. These stripes are encoded with a stronger magnetic field of 2750 Oersted (Oe) or more.
Lo-co magnetic stripes, encoded at a lower magnetic field of 300 Oe, are suitable for short-term use or applications that don’t require high security. They are often used for hotel room keys, gift cards, loyalty cards, and temporary access cards, while hi-co stripes are commonly used for library cards, employee ID cards.
Both types of magnetic stripes can be read by a magnetic stripe card reader, allowing for flexibility in their use.
Barcodes consist of wide and narrow stripes that can be easily scanned. Common barcode formats include Code 128, Code 39, EAN Code, and ITF. Over time, 2D codes like QR codes and Data Matrix codes have become widely used .
When scanned at a retail checkout, for example, barcodes can quickly retrieve item information from the POS system. We integrate barcodes into various products, including membership cards, gift cards, loyalty cards, RFID cards, wooden cards, paper cards, and key tags .
Serial numbers: We can generate sequential numbers starting from any number you provide .
Random numbers: Our manufacturing process allows us to produce barcode cards based on numbers from a simple spreadsheet (Excel or CSV), using the specific numbers you provide .
Additionally, we offer the option to display or hide the numerical values beneath the barcodes. For added security, we can fully encode the barcode while concealing the final digit in the displayed number, ensuring confidentialit .
Signature panels allow customers to sign directly on the card’s surface. These panels can be customized in size to fit your needs, whether you prefer a modern, informal look or a more traditional style. Depending on your requirements, we can produce one or more panels in transparent or white colors.
A scratch-off panel is a protective coating applied to specific areas of cards, such as gift cards, loyalty cards, prepaid cards, and phone cards, concealing sensitive information. These panels protect details like PIN codes or prize amounts, keeping them confidential until revealed by the rightful owner. Scratch-off panels also add an interactive element to the user experience, enhancing engagement and anticipation.
